Premium Earbud With A Premium Price Tag
Poly Voyager Free 60+ were arguably the most exciting wireless earbuds announced this year — and as of April, they’re finally available. Starting at $500 NZD, they are seriously premium noise-canceling wireless earbuds that pack a premium price. That said, there are also way more feature-packed than your average wireless earbuds.
The Case Design
Without a doubt, the most interesting thing about the Poly Voyager Free 60+ is its charging case. It’s integrated with a detachable USB Bluetooth transmitter that you can plug into your computer to establish a more reliable wireless connection. The case doubles as a Bluetooth transmitter, so that when used with the included USB-C-to-3.5mm cable, you can use the wireless earbuds with an in-flight entertainment system.
The charging case has a built-in touchscreen to control various settings including playback, volume adjustment, pairing status and more which no other wireless earbuds on the market offers as far as we know.

Audio and Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)
You may not expect much from earbuds marketed toward executives and IT personnel, but the Voyager Free 60 buds defy expectations. Sound quality is great and easily matches up against the best earbuds we’ve tried. The buds can deliver rich and nuanced bass, nicely balanced mids, and crisp highs.
They have an excellent soundstage, and we found ourself wanting to listen to music more often simply because they sound so good and remain comfortable to wear.
The ANC performance is also one of the best that we have come across. It offers both Standard and Adaptive modes, though there’s little discernible difference. Low-frequency noise completely disappears with either mode, and they cut out some higher frequencies as well.

Battery Life
Business professionals often spend long hours on calls or in virtual meetings. Poly claims 5.5 hours of talk time or 8 hours listening. We found these numbers a bit optimistic, and they really deliver closer to the specified time. That’s still quite good, especially since this is with ANC on at all times.
Additionally, the earbuds come with Qi certified wireless charging, which is great if you’re a wireless charging convert. The earbuds also have a standby time of up to 30 days, which includes the standby time of the charging case.

Unmatched Comfort for Extended Usage
The Voyager Free 60+ takes comfort seriously offering lightweight and customizable fit. Focused for comfort and feature a pressure relief design that reduces pressure in the ear canal, reducing the risk of discomfort or pain in the ears and making them more comfortable to wear for longer periods.
These earbuds are also perfect for workouts or commutes as they’re built to stay securely in place even during movement.
- Weighing only 5.8 grams and an ergonomic design ensures all-day comfort
- 3 different size silicon ear tips catering to various ear canal size.
- Rated at IP54, the ear buds is splash and dust resistant
Intuitive Controls and Smart Features
Designed for business professionals in mind, featuring intuitive controls that make it easy to manage calls and access essential functions. With simple touch-sensitive controls on the earbuds, users can
- Answer or end calls
- Adjust volume
- Mute/unmute
- Adjust ANC settings
- Activate voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant
This seamless control allows professionals to stay connected and multitask effortlessly, saving time and boosting productivity.

Final Thoughts
In the fast-paced and mobile-driven business landscape, professionals need reliable tools that enhance their productivity and keep them connected. If your company offers a generous equipment budget, take advantage and put the Voyager Free 60+ on the list and don’t look back.
These are really great earbuds with an impressive set of features and sound quality, and the certifications are marketed specifically to give corporations a reason to buy them for employees.
